2012 Blend Off
The annual Hookah Freak Blend-Off has begun!
Entrants to the 2012 Freak’s Blend-Off will receive a contest entry, a 250g jar of their own Hookah Freak flavor, the official 2012 Hookah Freak Blend-Off T-shirt, voting rights to the 2012 Hookah Freak Blend-Off, and a sampler of the Top Ten Blends of the 2012 Hookah Freak Blend-Off to decide on the 2012 Hookah Freak Blend Master.
This year’s Hookah Freak Blend Master will receive Official Title and Bragging Rights as 2012 Hookah Freak Blend Master, their custom Hookah Freak flavor in limited edition production in 2012, a 100g jar of EVERY Hookah Freak flavor (that’s 3 kilos of shisha!) and a 40” Flat Screen TV.
Contest Time Frame
Entry Submission: Friday, January 13th, 2012 – Tuesday, March 20th, 2012
Round 1 Voting: Thursday, April 5th, 2012 – Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 – Blends: 176 VS: 88
Round 2 Voting: Thursday, April 12th, 2012 – Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 – Blends: 88 VS: 44
Round 3 Voting: Thursday, April 19th, 2012 – Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 – Blends: 44 VS: 22
Round 4 Voting: Thursday, April 26th, 2012 – Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 – Blends: 22 VS: 11
Round 4 will give us 11 remaining blends which will go into a Sudden Death round of voting to narrow it down to the Top Ten Blends. After the sudden death round gives us our Top Ten Blends, we will start blending and packaging the Top Ten Samples and sending them to everyone that submitted a blend along with the Official 2012 Freak’s Blend-Off T-Shirt. Top Ten Sampler packages will be offered for sale from May 5th through May 11th and will come with each of the Top Ten Blends, an Official 2012 Freak’s Blend-Off T-Shirt, AND a vote in Round 5. Round 5 will be held AFTER the Sudden Death round presents us with our Top Ten Blends. (Top Ten Sampler packs purchased before the Sudden Death Round will be shipped once the Top Ten have been decided.)
Round 5 Voting will be open after the Top Ten Blends have been decided and will remain open until May 24th.
**Round 5 voting will only be open to those who submitted blends or purchased a Top Ten Sampler, and votes shall be E-mailed to us at Vote@Hookah-Freak.com. One vote per Blend-Off Entry or Top Ten Sampler purchased.
A winner will be announced on May 25th.
Everyone that receives samples of the Top Ten is HIGHLY encouraged to take the time to try ALL ten samples, thus helping you make an honest and genuine vote as to who will be the 2012 Blend Master and what will be the newest addition to the Hookah Freak line up.
